The Awesomatix A800FXR is the true R-Evolution of the successful A800FX platform, transferring the advanced A800R touring car technology directly into the front-wheel drive touring car category without compromise.

Following the A800FX and A800FX Evo, the FXR marks a decisive step forward. It is based on the mature A800R platform while retaining the proven drivetrain and precise steering geometry of the FX Evo. The development focus was on flex distribution, damping performance, weight management, and tuning flexibility.

A defining feature of the A800FXR is its revolutionary two-piece chassis made from two different materials. The front aluminum section supports the drivetrain, gearbox, and electronics, while the rear carbon section carries the rear assembly. This design delivers optimized weight distribution, refined flex behavior, and allows four different wheelbase settings, redefining “the best of both worlds” in FWD racing.

The kit introduces the new D4 rotary dampers, which allow external switching between linear, semi-progressive, and progressive damping modes without rebuilding the dampers. Compared to D3, they offer increased adjustment range and longer stroke.

New top decks (GFRP front, carbon rear) further refine flex distribution, while standard front ballast solutions and the modular ST265 front ram weight provide unmatched balance tuning options.
