Product Description

The Tamiya Mercedes-Benz CLK-GTR brings the legendary 1997 GT race car back to life – the car that dominated the FIA GT Championship with six victories. Its distinctive, aerodynamically optimized silhouette has been faithfully reproduced in polycarbonate. Separately molded parts for the Mercedes emblem, side mirrors, rear spoiler, and rear wing ensure maximum realism. A comprehensive decal sheet allows for the complete reproduction of the iconic racing livery.

The model is built on the TC-01 chassis , a state-of-the-art, extremely low-profile, and performance-oriented 4WD drivetrain platform. Thanks to pushrod inboard suspension, CVA oil dampers, a strong monocoque structure, and finely adjustable suspension geometry, the chassis is perfectly suited for low-profile GT bodies like the CLK-GTR.
