With the Tamiya Mercedes-Benz 190 E 2.5-16 EVO II (1991), Tamiya brings back another touring car legend – this time combined with the versatile and beginner-friendly TT-02 chassis . The original car competed in the 1991 German Touring Car Championship (DTM) and was known for its aggressive aerodynamics, wide fenders, front and rear spoilers, and distinctive, large rear wing. The real EVO II was powered by a 2.5-liter DOHC inline four-cylinder engine producing around 340 hp .

This version (47525) includes a pre-painted black/silver body , eliminating the time-consuming painting process and giving the model a perfect look right out of the box. The shape of the 190 E EVO II is realistically reproduced by a 1.0 mm thick polycarbonate body . Separate plastic parts such as mirrors, grille, emblems, and rear wing add further detail.

The robust and stable TT-02 all-wheel-drive shaft-drive chassis guarantees easy handling, high reliability, and diverse setup options. Silver dish wheels with racing slicks perfectly complete the look.
